HISTORY

Mata de Lata Habitat Bank

The Habitat Bank comprises two properties known as "Mata de Lata" and "La Montaña," which were previously traditional livestock farms exploited since the 1970s, where trees were cut down, transforming the landscape into pastures. Currently, the Habitat Bank promotes conservation and forest recovery while coexisting with infrastructure projects such as roads and power transmission lines.
