At the Pre-COP16 "Nature and Business" meeting on June 27, the National Center for Water and Biodiversity (CNAB) recognized Terrasos for its commitment and effort in contributing to biodiversity knowledge in Colombia. Terrasos shares this information under the principles of open access. In the context of the "Open Data on Biodiversity from the Business Sector" alliance, Terrasos distinguished itself among service sector companies, receiving the "Largest Data Publisher" and "Largest Data Coverage" awards.

As of July 2024, Terrasos has published more than 39,000 biological records in 20 datasets. This substantial volume of data positions Terrasos as the 11th-largest contributor to the Colombian Biodiversity Information System (SiB Colombia). The majority of these records pertain to flora and fauna present in our Habitat Banks, collected during the baseline characterization processes and the monitoring and follow-up schemes implemented for these Habitat Banks.

In the context of environmental consulting and compensation for biodiversity loss, Terrasos is a leader in the field of environmental consulting, implementing comprehensive environmental compensation plans to ensure that our projects not only comply with regulations but also make a positive contribution to the environment.

Terrasos is dedicated to the publication and dissemination of biodiversity data, facilitating the monitoring of biodiversity in our Habitat Banks and measuring our positive environmental impact. This commitment also extends to sustainability and environmental impact consulting, with the objective of making this data accessible to the scientific community and the Colombian public through the Colombian Biodiversity Information System (SiB Colombia).
