Amarilo Launches Biodiversity Policy for a Sustainable Future.

Amarilo is committed to a pioneering Biodiversity Policy that integrates urban development with nature conservation.

Its innovative approach seeks not only to mitigate environmental impacts, but also to generate net gains in biodiversity, promoting sustainable real estate projects that respect and strengthen local ecosystems.

With its new Biodiversity Policy, Amarilo reaffirms its commitment to ecosystem conservation and sustainable development, setting clear goals aligned with the Global Biodiversity Framework and the Sustainable Development Goals. This strategy allows it to integrate nature into its projects in a structural and effective way.

Furthermore, with the acquisition of 2,000 Tebu in the Aguadulce Habitat Bank, the company goes far beyond its obligations, contributing to the protection and restoration of strategic ecosystems in Colombia. This action sets a positive precedent in the construction sector, demonstrating that it is possible for urban development to coexist in harmony with biodiversity.

Through this policy, Amarilo:

• Incorporates biodiversity criteria in its projects from planning to operation.

• Develops ecological restoration strategies in strategic areas.

• Promotes nature-based solutions to improve the quality of life of communities.

• It relies on alliances with conservation experts, such as Terrasos, to guarantee the effectiveness of its actions.
