Companies Keeping the Pulse of Biodiversity: Terrasos Strengthens Strategic Partnerships for Nature

Commitment to biodiversity is strengthened when companies take an active role in its conservation. Based on this principle, the event "Terrasos Living Legacy: Companies Keeping the Pulse of Biodiversity" was held—a space for dialogue and co-creation that brought together key representatives from the business, financial, and environmental sectors.

Organized by Terrasos at the BID Lab offices in Bogotá, the event was designed as a strategic opportunity to strengthen relationships with clients in the mandatory market and explore their connection with the voluntary market through solutions such as Habitat Banks and Voluntary Biodiversity Credits (VBC).

A Call to Action from Institutions and Environmental Leadership

During the opening, Ramiro López Ghio, Representative of the IDB Group in Colombia, emphasized that "biodiversity is not only an environmental challenge but also a transformative investment opportunity for the private sector in Latin America. Terrasos demonstrates that it is possible to link profitability and regeneration".

Business Vision and Action for Conservation

Among the event attendees were representatives from companies committed to sustainability, such as Amarilo, Banco de Occidente, Ocensa, ISA Intercolombia, Drummond Electric, Frontera Energy, OCENSA, ODL, among others. Their presence highlights the growing interest of the Colombian business sector in driving impact investments in biodiversity.

From Terrasos, we deeply thank every partner who accompanies us in building a living legacy for the country and the planet. To BID Lab and the Santo Domingo Foundation, we express our appreciation for supporting an innovative and high-impact financial solution for biodiversity.

Today more than ever, conservation is not an option, but a strategic decision. The question is: Is your company ready to integrate biodiversity as a central pillar of its corporate management, reputation, and sustainable growth?

Nature needs determined allies. And the time to act is now.
